The nearest airport is Faro which is approximately 20 minutes drive. Car hire is not necessary as everything is close by.
Distance from Beach
Both the Vilamoura and Quarteira beaches are fantastic with their lengthy promenades and beautiful golden sand. On one side of the marina entrance is the Falesia Beach extending for several miles westward, and on the other is the Marina beach which stretches eastward to meet with the Quarteira beach. It is approximately a 20 minute stroll to both the Marina and Falesia beaches. There is also a local tourist train in summer that passes near to Villa Cole regularly and you can take this to the beach and marina area.
